Mustang Families,

December is here and we are closing out the calendar year. This time of year is often filled with joy and happiness, and such, it is very fitting that our students will receive a message this week on “Thoughtful Thursday” that comes to us through a quote which says, “Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction. Break the habit. Talk about our joys.” This reminds us that joy and happiness can be shared through communication. As mentioned, it is easy this time of year, but we hope to make it a habit for all 12 months. I would like to start by sharing with you all the joy that I experience each day as you lend us your children and entrust us with their safety and academic growth. We are humbled and grateful for the opportunity that we have with each student at McCartney Ranch.

Please keep in mind that while we have many extra events planned for this month, many of these are immediately related to academic progress and instructional planning. It is imperative that your child attend each day to complete benchmark testing, among other things.

Don’t forget that Wednesday is an Early Dismissal Day. All students will be released at 12:45 p.m.

Since communication is so important to us, I would like to ask for your help. If you find these weekly messages helpful, please ask a friend if they are getting the messages as well. If they are not, please encourage them to sign up or have them stop by the school office and we can do it for them. Thanks for the support!
