Welcome back, Mustang Families!

Today marks the first day of another school year. I can't wait to learn and grow with all of you as we work together to celebrate our anticipated success and overcome any potential challenges.

We are so thrilled to be welcoming back all of our returning Mustang students, staff, and families. In addition, we have many new staff members that I would like to introduce. As time permits, please help me welcome the following:

Mrs. Sachak - Academic Coach
Mrs. Chavez – Teacher
Ms. Dean - Asst.
Mrs. Garcia - Teacher
Ms. Halloran - Computer Lab
Mrs. Smith - Teacher
Mr. Coughlin - Lunch Asst.
Mrs. Coates - Teacher
Ms. Brown - Teacher
Mrs. Sanchez Teacher
Mrs. Fleenor - Teacher
Ms. Newell - Teacher
Ms. Lungren - Teacher
Mrs. Klug - Health Tech.

I know you will welcome each of them with open arms as they demonstrate the care and commitment that you have become accustomed to at McCartney Ranch.

As the school year begins, please keep in mind a few things:

1) Student safety will remain a top priority. While keeping that in mind, we ask for your patience as we work to reestablish our dismissal procedures. The routines for pickups and bus routes might be somewhat slower for the first few weeks of school. If you have transportation changes and updates, you can help us by calling the school office before 2:00 each afternoon.

2) We communicate with families in various ways. Please be on the lookout for school newsletters, class memos, eAlerts, phone calls, emails, and even some home visits. Effective and communication with families will help to contribute to the success of your children. We encourage you to be an active participant in these conversations and we hope that you will reach out to our school staff for any needs, concerns, or even praise and celebrations.

3) We love our volunteers. You are invited and encouraged to complete a volunteer application so that you may work with your child’s class, out PTO, or even our office staff to support school wide initiatives.

I truly believe that a solid educational foundation is the pathway to future opportunities and success. We are blessed, humbled, and grateful that you trust us in this journey and partnership. Thanks for being your child’s first teacher and thanks for giving us the opportunity to provide an additional positive impact.

Here’s to a great year!
