Mustang Families,

This week we will wrap up our LIVE TO GIVE Monthly Mindset. The final message that students will hear today is about leaving a legacy through their actions related to giving. We often wonder to ourselves what others might think or say about us when we are not in their presence. If you work to leave behind a legacy of giving, others will only be saying great things. Talking with your students about what they think others say about them and what they hope others might say can lead to insightful conversations. It is my hope that you can use these topics to connect with your children, as it is more important now than ever to stay connected.

Congratulations to all individuals that participated in the Jump Rope for Heart Donation Drive. As a school, we raised over $12,000 and beat our total from last year by about $500. Kudos to Coach Suor and all students involved!

We have a few events this week that you might want to add to your calendars:
- This week is Love of Reading Week. It is time to celebrate the joy that is reading!
- Tuesday is Leader Lunch for all classroom leaders.
- Wednesday is an Early Dismissal Day. Students will be out at 12:45pm.
- Thursday is Spring Picture Day and After School Club Day.
- Friday our 3rd graders will attend the Cactus Fly-In at the CG Airport.

I hope that you all have a great week.
