Mustang Families,

As many of you know, the District has planned school closures for Thursday, April 23, 2018. This decision was communicated in a School Messenger alert from our Superintendent, Dr. JoEtta Gonzales. If you are not receiving these alerts, please visit our website to sign up or visit our school office so that we can be sure we have correct contact information. Additional communications related to this closure will come from the school and District.

In light of the recent decision, we will also have to cancel our Brown Bag Lunch, PTO Meeting, and After School Clubs that are all scheduled for Thursday. If possible, we will reschedule these events and communicate any changes.

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday school is planned to carry on as scheduled. This means we will have an Early Dismissal day on Wednesday. Students will be released at 12:45 pm, please plan transportation and pick-up plans accordingly. We also have our PTO sponsored spirit night at Barro's on Wednesday. Please stop in to support our school.

This week is our last 7 Mindsets message related to THE TIME IS NOW. Students heard a Monday message about "acting on purpose." We believe that if you can find your "why" you can act with purpose and have a tremendous impact. Simon Sinek called this the Golden Circle. What is your "why?" Do you have a family "why?" If we all can define the purpose of our actions, our intentions can become clear and we can connect with others. Find your "why" and act on purpose.

Have a great week!
