Mustang Families,

This week is one of my favorite weeks of the year. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Due to the simple fact that everyone has (or has had) teachers in their lives, we can all relate to the importance of a good educator. This week, we get to share our gratitude for so many things that teachers and educators impact: 1) for those brief moments that mean so much, 2) for the lengthy encouragement through a difficult personal or academic time, 3) for the relevant instruction that helped you (or your kids) get to where they are, 4) for countless other things... Throughout this week, I would encourage you to reach out to an educator that has impacted you our your child in a positive way. Maybe is is someone that you have lost touch with or maybe it is someone that you see each day. Either way, there are means of getting connected to simply say, "thank you." Those words can mean so much. Gratitude is a fuel that can keep our passion and desires burning. Is there someone in your life that you can help fuel up?

This week we have a few fun events for our students. Please mark your calendars, if necessary. SMART Moves will visit our campus for the final session with 5th grade students on Tuesday. Wednesday is Nurses' Day; we invite you to help us celebrate our Health Office team. Thursday we have our 7 Mindsets celebration assembly. This is a student event but you are invited to check out twitter (@McCartneyRanch)for photos. We also have our Volunteer Tea on Thursday afternoon. We look forward to celebrating those that help make our jobs easier and better. Friday is our Mother/Son BMX event at 5:00pm. Please make sure you RSVP!

As always, thanks for your continued support. Have a great week!
